Kishtwar, July 22, 2025: In a step to streamline revenue administration and improve public service delivery, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Sh. Pankaj Kumar Sharma (JKAS), chaired a meeting of revenue officers at the VC Room DC Office Complex here.
The meeting focused on key revenue matters, including disposal of court cases, digitization of revenue records, progress under the SVAMITVA scheme, inheritance attestation of mutations, online services, and removal of encroachments on state , Kacharie, Common & Roshni land, besides dispoal of complaints/ grievances on J&K Grievance redressal portal.
During the meeting, a detailed PowerPoint presentation was presented, providing an overview and status of ongoing initiatives.
The DC directed all Tehsildars to ensure timely redressal of complaints and public grievances, particularly those registered on the J&K Grievance Redressal Portal.
He stressed the importance of completing assigned tasks on time and directed SDMs to regularly monitor revenue-related works.
The DC also instructed officers to dispose of online revenue services as per the Public Services Guarantee Act and ensure timely disposal of court cases.
The meeting was attended by ADDC Kishtwar, ACR Kishtwar Mohd Idrees Lone (JKAS), SDM Paddar, SDM Marwah, SDM Chatroo, and other concerned revenue officials, including Tehsildars.
The DC's directives aim to improve public service delivery and ensure efficient revenue administration in the district.
