Panchkula, July 04: The Haryana government has decided to remove contract employees from sensitive posts in government departments, boards and universities in the state, and now only permanent employees will be appointed to these posts.
This decision has been taken after getting a large number of complaints of corruption in government departments. The Human Resources Department has directed all departments to ensure deployment of regular permanent employees on all sensitive jobs replacing contract employees with immediate effect, especially on all posts related to finance and human resources.
The Human Resources Department under the Chief Secretary has directed all administrative secretaries, heads of departments, managing directors and chief administrators of boards and corporations, divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners and registrars of all universities to identify sensitive posts and deploy regular employees on such positions.
But, it is the need of the day to act like by J&K Govt as in many departments contractual or consolidated are given important assignments, in violation of Govt Rules of appointments.
However, such basic appointments as contractual or consolidated in JMC & JDA & thereafter regularized by some means causing loss to Govt exchequer under their pressure, needed to be acted upon.
