J&K: CAT to put cost on CMO to be payable by him, in the event of non-compliance

Jammu, July 2: In T.A./3141/2020, SWP No. 888 of 2019 titled  SMT KAUSHALYA ABROL Vs D/O HEALTH AND MEDICAL EDUCATION UT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR  afterr hearing CAT ordered as under:-

The matter is partly heard.

The Chief Medical Officer attended the proceedings virtually and prayed for some time. Upon review of the previous order dated 10.06.2025, it has been noted that compliance with the said order remains incomplete.

The Court, in its exercise of discretion, grants one final and last opportunity to the concerned officer to ensure full compliance within six (6) weeks from the date of this order.

The Court further directs that, in the event of non-compliance with the aforementioned order within the stipulated time frame, the case will be disposed of with the imposition of costs.

These costs shall be recovered from the erring officer, who will bear full responsibility for the same. This matter shall be listed for further hearing on 18.08.2025
