CM Rajasthan orders to stop pensions of 10 retired officers including IAS Officer, approves prosecution of  07 officers

Jaipur, June 29: CM Bhajanlal Sharma has approved initiating the process to stop pensions of 10 retired officers, including an IAS officer as the path for action against officers found guilty in cases of corruption and irregularities has been cleared.  

The CM has resolved 38 pending cases of prosecution and disciplinary action against officers and employees accused of corruption. The CM has approved the dismissal of two officers who have been absent from duty for a long time and are accused of corruption.

A proposal has been sent to the central government to stop the pension of a retired IAS officer. The retired IAS was accused of committing irregularities.

Approval has been given to prosecute 07 officers caught by the ACB on corruption charges. Approval has been given to take action against 11 officers under CCA Rule 17 and two officers under CCA Rule 16.

After CM's approval, the annual salary increase of these officers will be stopped. The file for stopping the pension of 9 retired officers has been approved. 2 reviews rejected, 2 officers get inquiry relief after review at the Chief Minister level, review petitions under CCA Rule 34 have been rejected in two cases, and previous actions have been maintained.

In two cases of departmental inquiry, accused officers have been given relief.
