SRINAGAR, June 18: Following an order by the Jammu and Kashmir government, the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board said that there would be no helicopter service to the Yatris this year.
It added that the Yatris should reach the holy cave shrine from both South Kashmir’s Pahalgam and North Kashmir’s Baltal route on foot or by using Ponies and palkis (palanquins).
All pilgrims planning to visit the Holy Shrine during this Yatra are advised to take note of the same.
Now, Pilgrims have to reach the Holy Cave Shrine on foot or avail the services of ponies and palkis throughout the Yatra.
