JAMMU, Jun 17: PDP’s Youth Wing President Aditya Gupta on Monday expressed concern over the growing anxiety within Jammu’s tourism and business sectors amid the commencement of train connectivity to Kashmir.
Gupta warned that Jammu risks being bypassed and eventually erased from the region’s trade and tourism map if corrective measures are not taken.
He also criticized the elected representatives from Jammu, accusing BJP MLAs of remaining “spineless” despite the trust reposed in them by the people.
Gupta further targeted the Omar Abdullah-led government, alleging that ministers from Jammu division were more focused on social media optics than addressing the pressing concerns of the region’s business community.
