Srinagar, Jun 17: Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan is arriving in Srinagar on Today morning to review the security preparedness for the upcoming annual Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to commence on July 3, besides having deliberations about the prevailing security scenario in J&K.
Mohan is set to chair a high-level security review meeting here, which will be attended by top civil and security officials of J&K, including Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, J&K Home Secretary, Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat, General Officer Commanding (GoC) 15 Corps Lt Gen Prashant Srivastava, ADG CID Nitish Kumar, senior officers from paramilitary forces, and representatives of intelligence agencies.
