Srinagar, June 12: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Wednesday said that there is difference in being Chief Minister of State and UT in interview with former Union Law Minister Kapil Sibal.
CM Omar Abdullah said “When I was the Chief Minister of the state, if I told an officer to do something, he would tell me ten ways how it could be done. Today, if I tell an officer to do something, he gives me ten reasons why it cannot be done .”
The biggest control on Officers is "Transfers " that I dont have for IAS and IPS Officers , so they listen me to some level only.
Chief Minister also said that I am not invited for Security review meeting.
I am demanding Statehood ofr the welafre of Jammu and Kashmir, said CM Omar Abdullah.
