Katra, June 09: Lieutenant Governor Shri the Manoj Sinha inaugurated the “CCTV Surveillance System with Integrated Command & Control Centre” at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine.
The LG stated that this state-of-the-art system, powered by advanced AI technology, will enable real-time monitoring, effective crowd management, and enhanced safety and security for devotees.
He further added that it is designed to ensure a smooth and hassle-free pilgrimage experience & the integrated infrastructure will provide comprehensive situational awareness, allowing for swift decision-making and efficient coordination with emergency services.
LG said that the actionable insights generated by the system will play a crucial role in enabling rapid response during any emergency situation.
