India to lead International Institute of Administrative Sciences


NEW DELHI , June 05: India won the presidency of the Belgium-based International Institute of Administrative Sciences (IIAS) for the first time, according to an official statement issued on Wednesday.


 Secretary DARPG V Srinivas won presidency of the IIAS for the period 2025-2028.

The official statement with Cross Town News reads “This is a historic occasion, a significant moment in DARPG’s partnership with IIAS.

The DARPG is grateful for the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji and Hon’ble MoS (PP) Dr. Jitendra Singh Ji for their trust reposed in the India’s candidacy for the IIAS presidency.

India looks forward to shouldering the responsibility with a deep sense of humility and commitment to multilateralism taking forward India’s vision for a Resource rich, Publications rich, Digitally agile IIAS.

The India presidency of the IIAS will be an inclusive Presidency to bridge the north- South divide.”
