The advisory, issued in the interest of national security and public safety, warned that any such activity would attract strict legal action under the relevant laws.
Police, made it clear that disclosing sensitive details, whether through images, videos, or text can severely compromise ongoing security operations and pose a direct threat to lives and law enforcement efforts.
It emphasized the importance of responsible behavior in the digital age, especially during times of heightened security alert.
It added that your cooperation is crucial at this juncture for maintaining peace and public order & appealed to citizens to prioritize collective safety over the urge to share sensitive content.
