JAMMU, May 07: Chief Minister Jammu and Kashmir Omar Abdullah held a meeting to assess the security and preparedness along the border/LoC areas after India carried out strikes on terror camps in Pakistan.
CM said “In light of current developments, I’ve directed immediate release of contingency funds to all Deputy Commissioners.
Officials have been instructed to counter misinformation and urge the public to rely only on verified sources. Let’s stand united and resilient.”
In the meeting , CM directed for emphasis on safeguarding civilian lives, strengthening infrastructure, and ensuring swift response to any emerging challenges.
CM assessed the ground situation along the border and LoC.
Divisional Commissioners and DCs briefed on the prevailing situation.
