Poonch, June 03: The armies of India and Pakistan receprocated heavy fire and shelling along the LoC in Poonch district.
Pakistani army reportedly thrown shelling in Saujiyan, Sajwan and Gagrain sectors. A woman was injured due to shelling in Qasba Shahpur. She was hospitalized.
In Saujiyan, a shell landed just outside a police station, damaging its roof.
Reports of mortar shelling have also been received from Mankote area of Krishna Ghati sector of Mendhar.
Reports said that ambulances have been rushed to the spot. However, there was no immediate report of any casualties.
