Power shut down in areas of Jammu

 

JAMMU, Oct 21: In order to carry out work by IRCON International Ltd, shutdown of 33 KV line feeding supply to various sub stations is allowed.The power supply to Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony, MES Sunjwan, Chowdhi, Malik Market and its adjoining area shall remain affected from 8 am to 3 pm on October 21, 2015 and 8 am to 1 pm on October 23, 2015. Similarly, power supply to Gandhi Nagar, Gole Market, Bikram Chowk, MES, University and its adjoining areas shall remain affected from 8 am to 3 pm on October 25, 2015.

 

Meanwhile, power supply to Channi Himmat, Sainik Colony, MES Sunjwan, Sunjwan, Chowadi, Malik Market and its adjoining areas shall remain affected from 8 am to 6 pm on October 27, 2015.Power supply to Sainik Colony, Chowadi and its adjoining areas shall remain affected from 8 am to 6 pm on October 29, 2015.

 

Meanwhile, in order to carry out work of re-alignment of line near Barjani Bridge, power supply to  Smailpur, Meen, Raya, Badhori, Utterbehni, Gurha, Purmandal, Sandhi and its adjoining areas shall remain affected for three days on October 25 & 26, 2015 from 9 am to 1 pm and October 27, 2015 from 9 am to 3 pm.

 

In order to carry out work for erection of Tower and Beam at sub-station by IRCON International Ltd under Cluster-II R-APDRP Part-B, power supply to Prem Nagar, Lower Prem Nagar, Qasim Nagar, Christan Colony, part of Raghunath Bazar and adjoining areas shall remain affected October 23, 25, 26 & 27 from 8 am to 12 noon shall remain affected.

 

Meanwhile, in order to carry out testing of protection relays on 132 KV Voltage level at Janipur Grid Station, power supply to Roopnagar, Bantalab, Subash Nagar, Muthi and Sheetli shall remain affected on October 25, 2015 from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.

 

In order to carry out work by Ircon International Ltd, shutdown of 33 KV line feeding supply to various substations is allowed.During shutdown period, power supply to Civil Airport, Airforce Station (Satwari), Military Hospital, Nai Basti, Satwari and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on October 25, 2015 from 8 am to 12 noon and Bhatindi, Sunjawan, Malik Market and its adjoining areas shall remain affected on October 28, 2015 from 8 am to 2 pm.
