
JAMMU, Apr 26:: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti has directed police to slap stringent provisions of law on the cow vigilantes who recently attacked a nomadic family in Reasi district of the state.
"The Chief Minister directed the security agencies to ensure that inter-community harmony and amity among various sections of society be maintained at all costs," reports said.
With reference to the Reasi incident, she directed the police that culprits should be brought to justice if found spreading hatred against a section of society or in the name of a social cause, reports said.
