UDHAMPUR, Apr 22: Two minor sisters were allegedly raped by a shopkeeper in Panchari village of Udhampur district.
Police arrested the accused, identified as Kewal, resident of Pancheri after protests by Public.
The victims, aged 8 and 10 years, had gone to Pancheri Panchayat Ghar along with their grandfather for preparation of Aadhar Card. On their return back to home, the grandfather stopped at a medical shop in Panchari for purchasing some medicine while both the girls left for home. However, they were intercepted by the accused in an isolated area and raped.
