JAMMU, APRIL 12: As a part of promotion policy and to encourage workmanship in cadre, Inspector General of Police, GRP J&K Jammu, Rajesh Kumar, today ordered in-situ grade promotion to 10 head constables and 17 sergeant constables, who have completed nine years of satisfactory services and were found eligible for their in-situ promotion.
The promotions were approved by the departmental promotion committee of GRP HQRS J&K in terms of the principle guidelines/ criteria enshrined in SRO-14 of 1996 dated 15.1.1996 read with SRO-225 dated 04.7.1997.
The IGP felicitated the promoted officials and hoped that they will work hard to serve the people and the department with the same zeal and dedication in future as well.
