Ganga inaugurates free eye camp


SAMBA, APRIL 10: Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga today inaugurated 19th Free Eye Camp in “Sevakunj Ashram” at village Chack Doulat in Ramgarh Block.

The camp was organized by Sant Balram Goswami Ji Maharaj (Sanchalak Sevakunj Ashram).

During the camp, the people from rural and far-off areas of Vijaypur constituency were examined by team of doctors besides free medicines were also provided.

The Minister interacted with patients and asked them to avail benefits from such camps. He asked the concerned to hold similar camps so that the benefit of the same would percolate to the people.

Lauding the efforts of the Sevakunj Ashram for carrying out the philanthropic services, Ganga said that the organization has been doing excellent work and serving the mankind selflessly. He expressed his gratitude to the organization for supplementing the efforts of the government in this important sector. He said the organization is always on the forefront both during normal and in emergency by extending helping hand to the needy.

“Such selfless service to provide medical aid that too without any charges is a blessing for hundreds  of patients, who cannot afford to arrange such a treatment by super specialist doctors by any means”, the Minister said.

Among others, District Development Commissioner Samba Sheetal Nanda, Assistant Commissioner Development Samba Sushil Attri, District Health Officer Samba Dr Harbaksh Singh, BMO Ramgarh Des Raj, Dr Rajni Gupta besides people  of Chack Doulat adjoining areas were present on the occasion.
