Bardhaman, March 26: Seven people were killed and two others injured in a major road accident in Kanaksa area of West Bengal as one Maruti van carrying nine people collided with a truck. The collision was so forceful that five people were killed on the spot report said.
The four passengers were sent to a hospital for treatment, where two persons succumbed to injuries taking the death toll to seven & the condition of the two injured persons is said to be critical. The police has registered thae case & investigating into the tragedy and the driver of the truck is still on the run.
