Jammu, March 14: The NC has authorised Dr, Farooq Abdullah to decide whether party should align during the upcoming parliamentary by-elections in Anantnag and Srinagar.
The NC also said that since violence had increased in the state, mainstream politicians and activists needed enhanced security to carry on electoral activities.
Reports said the NC may announce the names of its candidates for the by-elections on tommarow.
