JAMMU, Mar 06: J&K Government has given sanction to the constitution of the f Divisional Level Committees headed by respective Divisional Commissioners to assist and facilitate implementation of the Special Package for Development of Sports Infrastructure in Jammu & Kashmir (PMDP).
As per order copy available with Cross Town News, the Committee will have Divisional Commissioner, Jammu/Kashmir. Administrative Secretary, Youth Services &Affairs, Commissioner, SMC/JMC, Deputy Commissioner of the concerned district, Secretary, J&K State Sports Council, Representative of Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Representative of NPCC Ltd, as memebers.
The terms of reference of the Committee shall be to:
i. Identify land for construction of multipurpose indoor halls;
ii. identify sites for construction of synthetic athletic track/synthetic hockey track;
iii. co-ordinate inter-departmental issues
