DIG JSK Range pays surprise visit to Police Station: Rewards Officers for exemplary record-keeping

JAMMU, Apr 12: Dr Sunil Gupta, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jammu-Samba-Kathua Range, today conducted a surprise inspection of the Police Station Domana.

His conducts through examination at the Police Station including MHC Room, Malkhana, and Hawalat, ensuring all records & found that the Mahila Desk Register and Cyber Register, were diligently maintained.

DIG directed  to heighten vigilance ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections & emphasized prompt resolution of public grievances.


Commending the station’s active participation in the anti-drug campaign, Dr Gupta directed officers to investigate all aspects of NDPS cases thoroughly, identifying and seizing assets of drug offenders.

He also praised the systematic storage of vehicles seized under Operation Avtar.

Furthermore, Dr Gupta underscored the importance of reinforcing the Beat system and rewarded ASI Ramesh Chander, MASI Domana, and IC Women Help Desk L/HC Parmeet Kour for their exemplary record-keeping with a cash reward of Rs 500 each.
