SRINAGAR,Oct 06:Minister for Forests, Environment, Ecology and Social Welfare, Bali Bhagat said the Government formed a transfer policy in the year 2010 and the officers are being transferred strictly as per standing transfer policy adopted by the Government.
The Minister said this while replying to a question by Surinder Kumar Choudhary in the Legislative Council today. The Minister informed the House that 2507 officers/officials at various levels of different wings of forest department have been transferred since 1st January 2015 to date.
The Minister said that in the interest of administration, the transfer orders have been issued in consonance with the transfer policy for smooth functioning of the forest department.
