Jammu, Mar 10: Kabaddi Boys team of Jammu and Kashmir will participate in collaboration with J&K Sports Council in the 33rd Sub-Junior National Kabaddi Championship to be held at Motihari East Champaran Bihar from 16th to 19th March 2024.
The selected boys team was given a formal send off by General Secretary of the J&K Amateur Kabaddi Association, Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta from Kabaddi Stadium, Jammu. The boys team underwent screening conducted by the J&K Sports Council under the guidance of Divisional Sports officer, Mr. Baljinder Pal Singh.
The sports kits were distributed to the players by Sh. Surinder Mohan, former General Secretary in the presence of Mr. Ajay Gupta, Manager of the stadium and Mr. Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary of the Association. In the meantime, president of the association Mr. Anil Gupta conveyed his warm wishes to the boys team and officials for improved performance. President also said if the boys team will come with medal, then cash prize will be given to them and their reception party will also be celebrated in the City of Temples at Jammu.
The names of selected Boys are as under: Ankush Singh Chib, Aditya Thappa, Kavya Singh Slathia, Shahid Zahoor, Yasir Bashir Dar, Ridhan Sharma, Ifraz Ahmed Mir, Bhat Furqan, Suryansh Slathia, Harjeet Singh, Shivam Sharma and Waseem Raja. Stand by: Narayan Singh and Kunal Banotra.
