Srinagar, Feb 29: A man allegedly killed his wife in Cheki Audoora village of Handwara on intervening Wednesday and Thursday night.
The family of the deceased was informed by local residents that their daughter had been killed by her husband & is demanding strict action against the accused.
Meanwhile, Police has arrested a person accused of 'murdering' his wife & consequently, FIR under section 302 IPC was registered at PS Qalamabad.
The investigation of the case is in progress.(KNS)
