RAJOURI, FEBRUARY 10: Minister for Animal, Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries, Abdul Ghani Kohli today said the teachings of Guru Ravi Das are complete set of guide for leading a peaceful and harmonious life. He called upon the people to adopt the teachings of great spiritual saint, maintaining that Guru’s teachings are most relevant in today’s life.
Addressing a large gathering of devotees on the occasion of Guru Ravi Dass Jayanti at Lamberi, the Minister said that Guru Ravi Dass throughout his life worked for the welfare of poor and weaker sections of the society. He described Guru as great social reformer who tirelessly worked to ameliorate the sufferings of downtrodden and under-privileged.
Speaking at the occasion MLA Nowshera, Ravinder Raina said that because of the efforts of social reformers like Guru Ravi Das, the weaker sections of the society are today playing an integral and indispensable role in the mainstream governance.
