JAMMU, FEBRUARY 9: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti has felicitated people of the State on the occasion of birthday of Guru Ravi Dass.
In her message, the Chief Minister described Guru Ravi Dass as a great social reformer who worked for the uplift and empowerment of downtrodden and under-privileged sections of the society and whose life she said would inspire many to work for these sections.
Mehbooba Mufti also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity in the State.
In his message of felicitations, the Governor described Guru Ravi Dass Ji as a great social reformer who tirelessly endeavoured to ameliorate the lot of the people, especially the downtrodden and under-privileged sections of the society. He said that Guru Ji’s teachings of peace, harmony, love and compassion have influenced millions of people and continued to inspire generations to work for a harmonious society which is based on equality and social justice.
