JAMMU, Feb 07: Supreme Court says that initiation of APRs of subordinates is the part of duties of an officer but in J&K one IAS officer born on the cadre of KAS did not bothered for it causing delay in promotion of one officer.
Reports said that Secretary in December, 2016 following with a reminder requested Shafiq A Raina, Secretary, CAPD for initiation of APRs of one officer who worked under him when he was Director, RDD. But the big boss did not bother for the requests of Secretary, RDD.
Sources said that today again a reminder has been served to Secretary, CAPD by the Secretary, RDD for the same cause is a matter of high level enquiry that how such an officer is not bothering for the Supreme Court & govt. guidelines issued into the matter.
Shall Government take any actions on such like officer for not initiating APR, which is a part of his duty to teach a lesson to others who are also involved in such like practice? An enquiry into the matter from all the departments
