DODA, FEBRUARY 12: Deputy Commissioner, Harvinder Singh today reviewed the working of Rural Development and Revenue Departments, here at a meeting attended by key functionaries including the newly posted officers in the recent Administrative reshuffle by the government.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Pran Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sudershan Kumar, DPO ICDS Paramjeet Singh, ACR Sanjeev Kumar, ACD Manoj Kumar, ACP Musharaf Haff, SDMs, Tehsildars, and BDOs attended the meeting.
The DC exhorted the Revenue and RDD officers to prepare an action plan for combating illegal mining, drug abuse, bovine smuggling, encroachment of government land and other illegal, anti-social and anti-peace activities.
The DC urged the officers to put in synchronised efforts to meet the expectations of the common man, while keeping a close eye on the troublemakers.
Harvinder Singh emphasized the importance of transparency, accountability and timely public services delivery. He urged them to submit reports timely and ensure punctuality of staff in the government offices.
The DC asked officers to adopt modern technology and e-office for record-keeping/processing and services delivery.
The RDD officers were urged to ensure completion of approved works by the end of this financial year.
The DC impressed upon officers to ensure their availability in their jurisdiction and take every possible step to provide seamless services to people at their doorsteps, through the online mode.
