Poonch: Feb.06: The District Task Force Committee, under the able chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary (IAS), convened today to discuss and approve various Mission Youth Initiatives Schemes aimed at empowering and uplifting the youth of the district.
Among others were present including; Deputy Director Employment, Mohd.Rafiq, District Information Officer, Vishaldeep Chandan, Industrial Promotion Officer, Ramanjeet Singh, Motor Vehicle Inspector, Imran Choudhary, DNO EDI, Iftkar Ahmed, Vikas Sharma from lead bank Poonch and other concerned.
A total of 166 cases were reviewed and approved during the meeting, marking a significant step towards fostering youth development and ensuring a brighter future for the region.
The committee's deliberations focused on three key initiatives, namely Tajeswani, Spurring (SEI), and Mumkin. These initiatives aim to provide comprehensive support and opportunities to the youth in order to enhance their skills, employability, and overall socio-economic growth.
Under the Tajeswani initiative, 08 cases were approved, enabling deserving young individuals to access resources and programs that will aid their personal and professional development. Additionally, 7 cases were approved under the Spurring (SEI) initiative. Furthermore, the committee approved a remarkable 151 cases under the Mumkin initiative. This initiative focuses on empowering the youth by providing them with skill development opportunities and facilitating their entry into the job market.
Deputy Commissioner Poonch, expressed his satisfaction with the outcomes of the meeting and emphasized the importance of investing in the youth.
The Deputy Commissioner further highlighted the district administration's commitment to facilitating an environment conducive to the growth and development of the youth. He urged the approved beneficiaries to make the most of the opportunities provided and assured them of the administration's continued support.
