NEW DELHI, Jan 23: As per details with Cross Town News, four secretary level posts are lying vacant in Government of India , whereas fifth would fall vacant by the end of January month.
The Secretary level posts up on offer are the departments of Border Management, Health & Family Welfare, Ex-Servicemen Welfare and Defence Production.
Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation, Gyanesh Kumar will retire on January 31, if no extension is given.
The post of Secretary Cooperation is considered to be prestigious one , as one will work with Amit Shah, who is also Cooperation Minister along with Home Minister.
Arti Ahuja and Indevar Pandey , two Secretaries in Government of India , will also be retiring on February 29, 2024.
With the above situation , where there could be five vacancies by January 31 and seven Vacancies by February 29 , shifting at Secretaries level likely to happen in the period of Jan 30 to Feb 28 .
With Lok Sabha Elections announcement expected by 3rd Week of February , shifting most likely to happen before that time period.
