Goa, Nov 26: The Central Bureau of Investigation’s anti-corruption branch in Goa has lodged an FIR against the former Chief General Manager (human resources and administration) of ship building company Goa Shipyard Limited for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets to the tune of Rs 1.92 crore over a five-year period ending earlier this year.
GSL is a Defence Public Sector Undertaking.
According to the FIR, while working at GSL, Goa between January 1, 2018 and April 30, 2023, "Manoranjan Khuntia enriched himself illicitly and amassed assets in his name and in the name of his family members, disproportionate to his known sources of income”.
