J&K FFRC Restrains Private Schools From Charging Annual Fee For Nov-March Period

 

Srinagar, November 2: Committee for Fixation and Regulation of Fee of Private Schools directed all private schools of Jammu and Kashmir not to charge annual fees for the period from November 2022 to March 2023.

Chairperson of the committee, Justice (Retd) Muzaffar Hussain Attar said that all the school managements of private schools are restrained from charging and collecting annual fee for the period November 2022 to March 2023.

The chairperson warned of strict actions for breaching the orders.

He further said that it was made clear to the authorities of this school management that academic session cannot be stretched beyond the 12 months period, which now starts from April 1 and ends on March 31 of the calendar year.

The period of five months commencing from November-2022 to March-2023 being not part of the academic session, the students cannot be asked to pay annual fee for the period.
