JAMMU,Aug 18: DC Jammu Avny Lavasa is going on Study Leave outisde India and has got approval from the competent Authority, sources told Cross Town News.
Highly placed Sources told Cross Town News that four IAS Officers are under consideration to be next Deputy Commissioner Jammu likely by end of August month.
Sources added that history can be repeated once again in Jammu , as Ramesh Kumar and Avny Lavasa were posted as DC Jammu , immediately after their stint as Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, thus incumbent Commissioner JMC is front runner for the prestigious post of DC Jammu.
Sources added that three sitting DCs in Jammu and Kashmir Union territories are also under consideration , whereas one of them is IAS Officer of 2013 batch and is known for his maturity and diplomatic skills.
Sources further told Cross Town News that , second sitting DC was recently posted in one the top district in Jammu province, earlier was posted in Kashmir province as DC and was also posted as DC in Ladakh UT.
Sources said that third sitting DC is posted in Kashmir province, is from 2018 batch and is being termed as one the best Officer in younger lot.
