JAMMU, September 5:Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has launched ‘Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani’ initiative to facilitate easy online access to the land records system, reduce manipulation, and improve efficiency of Revenue offices in the Himalayan region, which was aimed at modernizing management of land records and enhancing transparency in the maintenance mechanism.
Introduction of the new system has reduced the scope of land, property disputes, and has facilitated conclusive titles to immovable properties across the Union Territory.
The work of digitization of land records is going on in all 20 districts across the Union Territory but since years & lot of times deadlines fixed but the deadline is still being carried on & when it will end not confirmed yet?
The public users can now search and view copies of the scanned data online on CIS Portal- http://landrecords.jk.gov.in/.
But, one can see despite so much efforts of the Govt lot of Revenue Officers are still busy in creating dispute to harass innocents, one live issue can be detected in Tehsil Bahu.
In Tehsil Bahu, one managed one fraud permission from DC Office without application of the applicant, 04 fards issued at different spots for vested considerations, which was provenly detected by a commission, but till date only Tehsil Bahu bosses are not providing the actual fraud fards distance drawing on paper despite RTI etc e which has been thrown here & there.
Thereafter, DC Office Jammu communicated so many communcations over the issue but in vein & now DC Office cancelled the said fraud permission & made it null & void & now further actions are awaited from SDM/Tehsildar, but who are saying still they have not received the said order, which stands issued by DC office since 07 days.
Now, if enquired then it shall prove that on whose name the records have uploaded, which is now on record knowledge of each & revenue concern of Tehsil.
However, DC Office is silent on part of actions as stands verified on spot by ADC, LO & other Committee Members.
