JAMMU, JANUARY 07: Paying rich tributes to the former Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, on his first death anniversary, Deputy Chief Minster, Dr Nirmal Singh today said the contribution of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed is immense and his role is historic in the socio-political arena of the state and the country.
The Deputy Chief Minister said people of the state should carry forward the legacy of the visionary leader and implement his vision for peace, dignity, development and prosperity of the State.
Dr Singh said the vacuum and void created by the demise of Sayeed is very difficult to fill, however, he expressed the hope that Jammu and Kashmir would witness a new era of development and prosperity by pursuing the path and vision shown by the late leader.
