Jammu, July 23: Deputy Inspector General of Police Rajouri Poonch range Dr. Haseeb Mughal IPS took security review meeting at district Police Office Poonch.
A detailed presentation regarding the security arangements was presented by Rohit Baksotra, SSP Poonch and all the security aspects were discussed in detail.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Addl SP poonch Mushim Ahmed, all the SDPO’s/SHO’s besides representatives of CRPF and other security agencies.
Haseeb Mughal stressed upon all the officers to work in close coordination and put in their best efforts to make the Yatra a successful event.
He also briefed the SDPOs/ SHO regarding prevailing law and order situation, measures to be adopted to control drug menace, traffic violation, mining issues and preventive measures to be undertaken to thwart the nefarious design of anti-national elements.
He stressed upon the offices to work very hard and provide public friendly policing , adopt the scientific tools of investigation and wished them good luck in their career ahead.
He also enjoined upon them to use latest technical means and keep them abreast with technical, computer skills as cyber crime is and will be a future challenge.
