Jammu, December 24 - JKPCC has taken a dig at the ruling BJP leaders over their ‘competitive name plate politics’ who are on the foundation stone laying spree of the already sanctioned, ongoing and completed projects, as part of their ‘Package & Repackaging’ politics and making themselves as ‘ laughing stock’ amongst people.
Referring to the controversy over the inauguration of community hall at Rajouri, which was inaugurated by Dy. C.M. Dr. Nirmal Singh, Yesterday, he questioned as to how the same ceremony is conducted again and again making mockery of the system and loss to the exchequer. The project was sanctioned, funded and completed during previous regime.
Similarly the Grid station at Siot was sanctioned and foundation stone laid by then Minister for Power Shri Rigzin Jora during Congress-PDP Govt. in the presence of then MOS Dr. R.C. Sharma, When the work was started and boundary wall was laid but the litigation in the High Court delayed the execution of the project. Now again the Dy. C.M. laid the foundation stone of the same project yesterday. Similarly there was another undesirable controversy over the foundation stone of a lane in Sunderbani town, besides the incident witnessed with senior BJP MLA at Jammu, Yesterday, where he faced the ire of people, especially their own supporters for failure to deliver on ground.
He asked the present ruling leaders and BJP Ministers to shun politics of ‘packaging’ and ‘re-packaging’ of already sanctioned and ongoing schemes/projects and go far something new, to attract the people, who are aware of the schemes and projects already sanctioned by the previous dispensations.
