Setting up of Architecture School reviewd in Srinagar

       SRINAGAR, Dec  19: Commissioner Secretary Higher Education Department, Dr Asgar Hassan Samoon, today chaired a meeting to review the progress of establishment of School of Architecture at Government Degree College Bemina, Srinagar.

        It was given out that the first batch for the Architecture course shall start from September, 2017 within the existing infrastructure of the College.

        Dr.  Samoon said the course will stimulate sensitivity and unveil creative talents, besides reinforce intellectual capabilities and develop proficiency among the students.

        He said the course will enable students to competently pursue alternative careers, within the broad spectrum of Architecture and provide opportunities to students to try out the role they will eventually play as responsible members of the society.

        Principal Degree College Bemina Dr. Yasmeen Ashai, Nodal Principal Dr. Mohammad Aslam Baba, Senior Town Planner SDA, Members of Architectural Organization and other faculty members from various Engineering Colleges attended the meeting.
