Over the years the Media has played an important role in development of society. If we talk about 1990’s Print Media was the line of communication , perhaps the most awaited mode of Communication along with Radio. Newspaper with cup of tea in the morning was a synonym for almost all families across the nation . People use to wake up and read Newspaper to have an awareness on the fact what is happening across the globe.
After 1990’s the Television Media came strongly into picture and changed the whole definition of Media across the touch. Very few News channels along with Doordarshan were operating at that time. But with commercialization came number of Private News channels and turned in 24 hours News channels. People were getting regular updates on what is happening around them and World.
After 2010 came another media came into picture “ Social Media”, which infact has turned into the most effective one in recent times. People are getting minute to minute updates on Website s, Facebook pages , twitter , Application etc. The Social Media has changed the overall definition on Media with high time effectiveness and cost effectiveness and high reach at the same time.
All big names of Media have turned their attention towards Social Media and are playing an important part in the system along with many Young players who are specialist in this type of communication.
There have been few case of mis-use in Social Media but some protocol in the structure this issue will also get away in coming days.
