Ranjeet Kalra condoles the sad demise of former cricketer and marathoner Pranav Mahajan

JAMMU, Apr 17: Cricket administrator and sports promoter Ranjeet Kalra has condoled the sad demise of former J&K Ranji trophy player and popular marathoner Pranav Mahajan. Kalra in a tweet on social media post wrote
"Very very sad... Deeply hurt...It's a big loss for the cricketing fraternity...Pranav was not only an accomplished sportsperson but was also a very good human being...He was an inspiration to youngsters and was majorly responsible for developing a culture of sports in his hometown of RS Pura.  I remember my last conversation with him was also with regard to the development and laying down of a turf wicket in Bana Singh Stadium of RS Pura.

May his soul rest in peace and may god give strength to his family to bear this irreparable loss."

"After an illustrious cricket career Pranav reinvented himself as an ace marathon runner. He was a patriotic person who always took pride in carrying the national tricolour...He was also an ardent admirer of Shaheed e Azam Bhagat Singh," said Ranjeet Kalra.
