SRINAGAR: 17 absent employees were suspended in Sumbal division of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Friday.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Khursheed Ahmad suspended the employees after paying a surprise visit to different offices in Sumbal division.
The suspended employees belong to various departments which include PHE, PDD, Rural Development Department, Irrigation and Flood Control, Education and R&B department.
