CHENNAI: Lakhs of common people, political leaders and movie stars have been paying their last respects to former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa, who died late on Monday night following a cardiac arrest.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his homage to the departed leader by laying a wreath on her body kept at the city's Rajaji Hall.
