JAMMU, Jan 22: Social Worker Mohit Gupta has said that that Land grabbers must be dealt with iron hands , as they are illegally taking control of State/Govt lands.
Mohit said Some people are trying to shield Land grabbers and I appreciate steps of Govt on retrieving land.
Mohit further said that former DY CM J&K Dr Nirmal singh has taken due permission from BDO Nagrota to construct house at Panjgrain in 2016 and he is being targeted as Nirmal Singh made statements on land grabbing by Grabbers in Jammu.
He further said that that JDA Circular came into picture somewhere in year 2020, whereas earlier on BDO permissions were considered legal .
He further added that big Hotels have been constructed in Jammu on BDO Permission.
Mohit stressed on point that JDA keeps on extending its area from time to time , and couple of years ago , some areas were not under JDA.
Just go and check the houses in 5 km perimeter of Dr Nirmal Singh’s house , no body will be having JDA permission , as it was not norm in this area to have JDA permission at that time.
Mohit said Check out Govt establishments even they have been constructed without JDA plans.
