Reasi, Jan 18: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Charandeep Singh today constituted a committee of four officers headed by Additional Deputy Commissioner Reasi for conducting an enquiry into the incident at Tunnel T13-P2 at Sawalakote on 15-01-2022.
Sources told Cross Town News that the committee shall inquire into the reasons which led to the incident and submit its report within ten days. Committee shall also examine the safety measures adopted by the Railway authorities for their workers and examine the norms of construction of the project for handling such incidents.
In this context, around 70m span of an under contruction railway tunnel T13-P2 at Sawalakote collapsed on 15-01-2022 in which 05 labourers got minor injuries.
