Jammu, Dec 21: STPs of TPO/JMC/JDA preferred to harass innocents by putting technical words in the Bye Laws/Master Plans, which they use as a tool of corruption/harassment on innocents for building permissions, which is stil being done in these three organization in reverse of Srinagar & even in JDA & CTP, Town Planning Organization as a centre allowing UTEIC despite knowing the truth.
Shall Govt Act on CTP/STPs of Town Planning Org, Jammu/JMC/JDA for using different yard sticks in one district or preferred to close its eyes as usual to watch public's harassment?
Pertinent to mentionn here that STP, JMC, Mr Anil Raina is also CTP, Town Planning Organization & priorily was STP, JDA & on this issue of deciding Land Use without Zonal Plans & implication of UTEIC in different manner on JMC/JDA raised question marks!
However, JMC Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta chaired the session a special session of the general house of Jammu Municipal Corporation for discussion and adoption of unified building bye laws-2021.
Threadbare discussion on various provisions of the bye laws was held and it was suggested some modification/amendments in the same should be done.
The Mayor announced the constitution of a committee under the chairpersonship of Deputy Mayor which will submit a comprehensive report regarding modification/amendments in the bye laws.
The JMC adopted the bye-laws with the deliberations that the amendments required in these bye- laws submitted & finalized by the committee constituted shall be forwarded to the government for inclusion of these amendments in the Unified Bye Laws-2021.
