Naridra Batra to head International Hockey federation

JAMMU, Nov 12: Dr. Narinder Batra , who hails from Jammu, has become the first Indian to head the World body of Hockey. He is also the chief of Hockey India (National Sports Federation) and also the Chairman, Hockey India League.

Narendra Batra was today elected as President of  International Hockey Federation (FIH), tghe body that controls the Hockey in the world.

Dr. Batra  is the Managing Director of Batra Group which is an Indian multi-dimensional conglomerate company having its operations in seven business sectors including Healthcare, Automobiles, Renewable Energy, Transportation & Logistics, Education, Garments Export and Oil & Gas.
