SRINAGAR, Nov 12: The banks in Jammu and Kashmir have recorded deposit of massive Rs 1100 crore in last two days, reports said.
Since the big currency notes of Rs 500, Rs 1000 have been scrapped, people have been queuing up to make deposits in banks.
“ The total collection of Rs 1000 and Rs 500 notes which have lost legal tender stood up at Rs 1100 crore in last two days in JK,” reports said
