Jammu: A complaint was lodged in P/S Bus Stanad by one shop owner namely Rajesh kumar S/O Babu ram R/O Muthi, Tehsil Jammu, Distt. Jammu regarding theft in his shop by some unknown thieves.
In this regard, case FIR No. 37/2021, U/S 457/380 IPC got registered at PS Bus stand and investigation started.
After this special police teams of PS Bus Stand under the supervision of SDPO North Sharad Kalu were constituted. The team led by SHO PS Bus Stand Inspr. Deepankar Singh after using the technical aid and with the help of various CCTV footages of the area finally got a lead that the criminal was in Kashmir area. After this a special team was sent to Kashmir and finally with the assistance of local police the accused namely Parvaiz ahmed S/O Abdul Rashid R/O Zuhrama, tehsil Tregaam, Distt. Kupwara, kashmir was arrested and brought to PS Bus Stand. During sustained questioning accused confessed his involvement in the above case and on his disclosure stolen items were also recovered from his possession.
SSP Jammu Chandan Kohli has asked Jammu Police to be pro active against theft activities.
