Shahid Saleem detects big fake Job racket operating in J&K Housing Board

Jammu, May 06: Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board was notorious in different kind of issues like harassment to innocents for their genuine transfer of plots issues & other related simple issues for which the  concerned bosses preferred to sleep on files but with in a record period of time transferred the plot on the name of the MD Housing Mr Kotwal but if verified on ground from office records lot of files during previous & after are still in dust for their disposals.

It is also to mention here regarding a big scam of transfer of plot in Posh area of Gandhinagar without charging any charges of huge strip but innocents of no area covered on road by corner plots owners are still suffering for genuine family transfers.

But after the entry of Shahid Saleem, as MD Housing Board, the things started changing from bottom to top in a proper way but some officers, who are on deputation in the Board are still creating hindrances for genuine issues & are needed to be made to go out from the department after completion of deputation period to set right the system.

In a sensation move, Shahid Saleem, MD, J&K Hoising Board Jammu and Kashmir detected a fake job racket operating in J&K Housing Board Housing Board on Thursday & thereafter formally lodged a complaint with Crime Branch wing of J&K Police.

The Board also brought to the notice of CB, the dubious activities being carried out by some unscrupulous officials ranging from duping the people on the provision of financial assistance under Prime Minister Awas Yogna (PMAY).

Names of senior officers including one of the rank of Deputy General Manager Housing Unit No IInd Srinagar also surfaced in the job racket flourishing in J&K.

The Managing Director Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board has written to the Crime Branch to take action against the culprits involved in fake job racket.

The communiqué of MD JKHB sent to Crime Branch states that one Insha, resident of Hawal Srinagar has paid an amount of Rs 75, 000 to one Waseem Ahmed Dar for having a job in JKHB. She also mentioned that the payment was made in presence of G M Dar, Deputy General Manager Housing Unit No 11 Srinagar, who promised a job in lieu of gratification.

She also narrated the names of Waseem Ahmed Dar and Hakim Muzamil (disengaged State Level Project Engineering Specialist at State Level Technical Cell (SLTC)) for giving benefit to her as beneficiary under PMAY scheme in lieu of money.

The communiqué further states that Crime Branch is already seized of the matter regarding payment to ineligible beneficiaries under PMAY (U) scheme.

The JKHB has already requested Crime Branch for lodging of FIR against Hakim Muzamil (disengaged SLTC expert) for issuing fake and frivolous office communications to senior officers, the MD JKHB’s letter to CB states.

As per details with Cross Town News , the order issued by MD Housing Board on January 14, 2021 stated that Hakim Muzamil (disassociated SLTC) shall deemed to be have been disengaged with effect from November 1, 2019.

However, Hakim continuously kept on working and signing official letters thereby violating the service conduct rules. On April 22, 2021, the MD Housing Board lodged an FIR against Hakim Muzamil that the officer is misusing the official seal and stamp of SLTC PMAY for issuing communications to the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, MD Housing Board and other officers.

Today, a fresh letter seeking strict action against the culprits for their involvement in fake job racket operating in the Board was issued to save the innocent and qualified job seekers.
